About Me
What do you get when you cross a Chihuahua and a Dachshund? A match made in heaven! Shorty and Fluffy are a pair that will surely tug at your heartstrings. Sadly, this adorable couple was owner-surrendered to Austin Animal Center because their owner could no longer care for them. They came over to SNIPSA with the hope of finding a new family to give them their love. Shorty and Fluffy have an incredible outlook despite their current circumstance. They are always smiling, wagging their tails, and looking for a lap to lay in. While we would love to see these two get adopted together, it isn’t absolutely necessary. They get along well with other dogs, love children, and are easy to please. Being that they are potty trained and crate trained, they would make great pets for first time dog owners. They keep each other busy, though they will definitely appreciate walks and involvement in your daily routine. Additionally, while Fluffy’s longer coat will require a little extra TLC to keep him looking and feeling his best, Shorty’s will just need an occasional brushing!
