About Me
Oh my, how did I get here??? 👵 I once lived in the middle of nowhere with my family…it’s kind of a mystery as to why I was owner-surrendered. That’s right, SNIPSA brought me into their program at eleven years old after ACS rescued me and discovered my SNIPSA microchip. These nice people must have helped me out at SOME point in the past, though I can’t really remember. As an old girl, my memory is a little hazy. 💭 But I am definitely still in good spirits! During my first day here, I enjoyed posing for photos in exchange for Pupperoni treats, and I even wagged my tail during my intake exam. I showed some interest in the toy bin, too! With my gentle, calm and quiet nature, everyone seems to like me…I certainly like everyone. I also don’t mind other dogs and will even perk up a bit when they’re around. Most of the time, though, I stay pretty stationary and keep a loving eye on my humans. It makes sense considering all that I have been through lately–I haven’t had proper care in what seems like a long time. That said, the vet team here is working hard to help me feel better so I can dazzle a new owner. ✨ I have a really easygoing personality, so I hope it won’t be too hard. With my good house manners, non-destructive nature and super cute face, a loving space in which I can live out the rest of my years is surely in my future. 🏡 If you have a heart for a sweet, low-maintenance senior like myself, please consider placing an application. Update on Mr. Fish Stick!!!!🐈🐈 🙏🎊🙌Just a little over a week ago, this sweet kitten was found with a significant wound to his belly and had a difficult time bearing weight in his rear legs. He most likely had a run in with a dog that left him the “undercat.” We sewed him up, started him on antibiotics, and provided cage rest to heal his broken pelvis. Now this little hero is running around as if nothing ever happened – batting around his collection of stuffed mice, basking in the sunshine, and eating like a champion. There’s a reason for the adage that CATS HAVE NINE LIVES!!! Fish Stick wasn’t about to “disappoint.”

The perfect name for such a pretty kitty! Meet Bella: a mother, a survivor and most importantly, a lover. 💓 This young lady was rescued with her five kittens by a friend of SNIPSA. With her babies still tiny at the time, she spent her first few weeks in rescue nursing and teaching them all the ways of the gato. 🐈 Now, everyone is old enough to start looking for their forever homes, and mama is no exception! Despite her unsteady past, this girl’s confidence would make her an easy fit for any home. Bella is incredibly social, curious and easygoing. She is quiet by nature, but don’t let that fool you! She will stick to you like glue when she isn’t birdwatching through the window or napping away in a cozy spot. 💤 This kitty loves attention and has a very flirty personality, asking for pets at every opportunity. She is an expert at running her motor, rolling over for belly rubs and cuddling up with her humans.
