We just can’t figure out how this adorable and loving dog has not been adopted yet! He is so handsome and nobody has even come to meet him! Buck is a three-year-old Golden Retriever/Shepherd blend. He was picked up as a stray, and was a favorite with the staff at Animal Care Services and they pleaded for us to take him minutes before he was to be euthanized. We did and he certainly deserved it!
Buck currently lives with two teenage boys and a small, older Terrier. He loves to lay out in the sun, hang out and watch football with everyone, go on car rides and run or walk in the neighborhood. If walking or running is your new year’s resolution, he would make a great partner! In addition to his athleticism and social skills, Buck is a very confident dog. He is not afraid of fireworks, the vacuum cleaner, or anything else that we have found. He is house-trained and goes into his kennel on command.
He seems to be very adaptable and would do great in most environments. While in foster care, he has been dog sat during vacations by a neighbor with three large dogs and one without a dog living in an apartment. He did great in both environments.

We just can’t believe it, so of course we had to make her our pet of the week. 🌸 Sandy is a happy-go-lucky girl who was initially rescued when she was just two weeks old. With no mom around to care for her and her siblings, she was hand-raised by our adoption coordinator until she was old enough to begin munching on wet food. Now, she is ready to become your comfort critter! 🫧
Sandy loves children and animals of all sizes. She is young and intelligent, with limitless potential for training. We can see her thriving in a family home with plenty of activities to keep her happy and healthy. 🌟

Who can provide our Betty White with a cozy space in which she can await her forever person? 🧡 This girl is cuddly, curious, and she eats well, despite her old age. She doesn’t mind short leashed walks (or trolley rides) around the neighborhood and occasionally will churn out zoomies in the yard. Betty does have a slight head tilt from an injury that occurred before her rescue. We think it just adds to her charm, and she doesn’t seem to mind it, either. 🥰
