About Me
Is there room in your heart for a lil’ extra love and a whole lotta silky fur? Meet Corazon, the sweetest, prettiest little mix who can offer you both of those things and MORE! This gal came to SNIPSA heavily pregnant back in December and soon gave birth to 4 puppies. Fast forward several months and her kiddos have grown up and left the nest. Now, Corazon is in search of a new family to pour all of her love into! This darling pup was an excellent mother to her babies, and she will make for an even better companion. She is quiet, gentle and friendly to everyone she comes across. Due to her docile nature and small size, she would make for a great work-from-home buddy. Additionally, she does well around children and other canines. We think Corazon would make the perfect pet for someone living in an apartment, condo or single-family house. She would make an easy first-time dog as she is relatively low-energy, potty trained and non-destructive! Plus, you won’t have to worry about any “growing up” since she is just under two years old. While Corazon is a super easy keep, we believe she may have some Yorkie in her family tree and she may require the occasional groom to stay looking her best. So, don’t play heart to get! Douglas is one happy-go-lucky pup hailing from Animal Care Services in San Antonio. This boy is the last one left from his litter, who has no problem hanging with the big dogs at his foster home, and likes cats, too! He is nearing perfection with his potty training and crate well at night as long as he gets his nightly “cookie” before bed. He is incredibly lovable and will be difficult to give up, according to his foster mom! Douglas is hilarious and spunky, with puppy antics that will keep you on your toes. One of his favorite games, for example, is stealing a shoe and making a run for it. Despite his mischievous nature, this boy does correct quickly with a firm “no.” He also knows “potty” during outside time, and recalls with “pup-pups, come!” This smartie pants is incredibly food motivated, too, so he is bound to master tons of other commands by adulthood. He isn’t one to stray far from his people and has a loyal, eager-to-please personality. In the evenings, he enjoys cuddling with his sister and will whistle the night away. So, if you’re looking for a rescue who is sweeter than sap, add this pine pup to your pack!🐶🐾❤️

✨ BALLET UPDATE ✨
Our favorite little dancer is doing so much better! 🩰🐾 Ballet has made leaps and bounds since her first day at SNIPSA. It’s clear that she is feeling much more herself. Over the past two weeks, her personality has slowly revealed itself to be curious, spunky, funny and affectionate. Since she is being fostered by our adoption coordinator, Ballet has spent many days at the office making friends. She loves to make her rounds for attention and will visit every single staff member when she’s here. Ballet has even shown us that she has a voice, as she barked at another dog for the first time last week!
Tomorrow, our fabulous Frenchie will finally be ready to go home to her new family. Her adopter has been patiently awaiting this special day and has visited this pup several times since meeting her. Ballet has a whole new life lying just ahead. Three cheers to second chances! 💓🥂
