About Me
Take a shot of one of these kitties! Meet Tito and Gary. It’s clear from their structure that these gals are on the stronger side, but don’t let their rugged looks fool you – They’re really as sweet as ever. Besides, a little more body weight just means there’s more cat to love! We promise these two felines are in touch with their feminine side, too, despite their misleading names. The Good Samaritans that came across these girls originally assumed that Gary was male until she popped out a few kittens several months ago. Now, both Gary and Tito have been rescued and will prepare for their new lives off the streets! Since they have only recently been introduced to the luxury of living indoors, these two are still adjusting to their new lives. With that said, they are very trusting of humans and are quickly coming out of their shells. One thing to know about these gorgeous gals is they will do anything for a good petting session. After a couple of scratches, they’ll start purring up a storm and may even roll over onto their backs for you! So, if your favorite cocktail is missing that special something, then submit an application for one of these boozy babes!

Douglas is one happy-go-lucky pup hailing from Animal Care Services in San Antonio. This boy is the last one left from his litter, who has no problem hanging with the big dogs at his foster home, and likes cats, too! He is nearing perfection with his potty training and crate well at night as long as he gets his nightly “cookie” before bed. He is incredibly lovable and will be difficult to give up, according to his foster mom! Douglas is hilarious and spunky, with puppy antics that will keep you on your toes. One of his favorite games, for example, is stealing a shoe and making a run for it. Despite his mischievous nature, this boy does correct quickly with a firm “no.” He also knows “potty” during outside time, and recalls with “pup-pups, come!” This smartie pants is incredibly food motivated, too, so he is bound to master tons of other commands by adulthood. He isn’t one to stray far from his people and has a loyal, eager-to-please personality. In the evenings, he enjoys cuddling with his sister and will whistle the night away. So, if you’re looking for a rescue who is sweeter than sap, add this pine pup to your pack!🐶🐾❤️

✨ BALLET UPDATE ✨
Our favorite little dancer is doing so much better! 🩰🐾 Ballet has made leaps and bounds since her first day at SNIPSA. It’s clear that she is feeling much more herself. Over the past two weeks, her personality has slowly revealed itself to be curious, spunky, funny and affectionate. Since she is being fostered by our adoption coordinator, Ballet has spent many days at the office making friends. She loves to make her rounds for attention and will visit every single staff member when she’s here. Ballet has even shown us that she has a voice, as she barked at another dog for the first time last week!
Tomorrow, our fabulous Frenchie will finally be ready to go home to her new family. Her adopter has been patiently awaiting this special day and has visited this pup several times since meeting her. Ballet has a whole new life lying just ahead. Three cheers to second chances! 💓🥂
