About Me
Hey! Stop Scrolling and notice me, please! Are you looking for someone that’s really willing to stick with you through thick and thin? Someone who will be RIGHT by your side no matter what? Seriously, I will follow you to the bathroom just to make sure you don’t miss me too much while you’re in there. Moe is the name and don’t you forget it! I’m really glad that I caught your attention ‘cause that’s really my main mission in life – being the center of attention 24/7. No matter who I’m with, I’m quick to become their new bestie. You’ll notice from the variety in my photos that I also LOVE new outfits, so don’t you worry about me ever putting up a fight to dress up. If you love to travel, my small size makes me the perfect companion to tag-a-long wherever you go. Not to mention I would be ecstatic to join in on all of your adventures. If that’s not enough to convince you, I took the liberty of creating a pros and cons list on adopting me:

In light of #GivingTuesday, we can`t help ourselves but to highlight a little story. ❤️🩹 Meet our beloved Gilligan, who we recently rescued from a rural shelter. This large fluffball was born with terrible hips. Though he tries to run and keep up with the other dogs in the play yard, he is clearly uncomfortable, hopping more like a rabbit than running like a dog. Radiographs showed this young fellow has significant hip dysplasia, and he will need surgery to make his life better. With two FHO`s (femoral head osteotomy) on the horizon, we are determined to provide the best quality life for him. Every pet in our adoption program is treated like our very own. We are in it to win it for the animals!!!! 🐾

Kara’s K9 has fostered many SNIPSA dogs over the past several months—Chiquita, Chance, Giraffe, Rambler, Kyro, Jack, Doodle…just to name a few. Their cage-free environment offers a unique doggy daycare experience and allows our rescues a chance to get their wiggles out! Our pups are able to socialize and come into their own in a structured, fun space. Kara’s has done such a phenomenal job that some previous SNIPSA dogs are now regulars at their daycare facility.

Of course in the midst of the Holiday, animals don’t cease to become ill. 🤔 Poor Lady girl was surrendered to an area shelter with a large ulcerated mass on her neck. Little did we know that she also had a large invasive mass on her spleen. ❤️🩹 With the help of a beloved and special veterinarian, Lady received surgery late yesterday to remove the tumors. We are awaiting histopath results but aren’t overly encouraged. She is still spry, eating and a tail wagging. That’s simply the beauty of our pets, they never seem to know what’s wrong and handle adversity like champions. Please consider donating to her care through the link in our bio.
