About Me
Some people say that Mondays are a drag and that weekends are better, but here at SNIPSA we think every day of the week is something to look forward to! Seriously, have you seen how cute these days are? Meet our seven days of the week litter! We could sit here and name the list off for ya, but we’re pretty sure you could take a guess at each of the seven names. These seven sweethearts were rescued by our good friends down at ACS, before they journeyed over to the SNIPSA program. As Labrador Retriever/Collie Mixes, you can expect these guys to be pretty lively! Labradors and Collies are both known for being high-energy breeds that enjoy being included in as many family activities as you’ll allow. Each breed is intelligent and bred for certain jobs such as herding and hunting, so their eager-to-please genetics will be a huge help when it comes to training. As long as they receive the proper amount of time, energy and training that any puppy requires, they will shape up to be the perfect companions. This San Antonio special might not be purebred, but she sure has a pure heart. As a Cattle Dog mix, you can anticipate Mantis to be full of energy, brains and loyalty. Originally bred as herding dogs, Cattle Dogs benefit from having a job to do so it is important that these pups are both mentally and physically stimulated. Despite her mysterious background, this pup is happy, curious and loving. She enjoys the company of humans and she prefers to be involved with whatever you are doing. Update on Mr. Fish Stick!!!!🐈🐈 🙏🎊🙌Just a little over a week ago, this sweet kitten was found with a significant wound to his belly and had a difficult time bearing weight in his rear legs. He most likely had a run in with a dog that left him the “undercat.” We sewed him up, started him on antibiotics, and provided cage rest to heal his broken pelvis. Now this little hero is running around as if nothing ever happened – batting around his collection of stuffed mice, basking in the sunshine, and eating like a champion. There’s a reason for the adage that CATS HAVE NINE LIVES!!! Fish Stick wasn’t about to “disappoint.”
