About Me
The puppy within me honors the puppy within you. Remember our yoga litter? Well, the rest of their littermates have made their way to SNIPSA! Originally surrendered as a litter of six orphans, three of them were brought to SNIPSA. While the other three remained at a foster home practicing their downward dog and refining their child’s pose, two of the puppies in SNIPSA’s program found their forever family. Now, the final four remain searching to find their inner peace in a loving home. Despite a rough start to life, these puppies are still as loving as can be. These three late arrivals are your typical puppies and they are the star pupils of their yoga class. With Stretch being the most outgoing, Om being the ultimate toy lover and Chakra being the ideal cuddle buddy, they make the perfect trio. Being Collie and Heeler blends, these pups are bound to be intelligent with a lot of energy. So, it is important to keep both their bodies and brains stimulated with an active lifestyle. “Deedee! What are you doing in my laboratory?!” 👨🔬 I may not be a scientist, but I like to consider myself somewhat of a genius. If I’m not spending my days working on my mastered tricks, then you can find me hanging out with my friends. I just LOVE playing with my fellow canine companions, even if my intelligence is far superior. 🧠 Humans are another great option to keep me company. Young or old, I don’t have a preference as long as someone is providing me with the attention I deserve. A good game of fetch in the yard accompanied with a brisk walk through the neighborhood are my personal favorite ways to get my cardio in. Douglas is one happy-go-lucky pup hailing from Animal Care Services in San Antonio. This boy is the last one left from his litter, who has no problem hanging with the big dogs at his foster home, and likes cats, too! He is nearing perfection with his potty training and crate well at night as long as he gets his nightly “cookie” before bed. He is incredibly lovable and will be difficult to give up, according to his foster mom! Douglas is hilarious and spunky, with puppy antics that will keep you on your toes. One of his favorite games, for example, is stealing a shoe and making a run for it. Despite his mischievous nature, this boy does correct quickly with a firm “no.” He also knows “potty” during outside time, and recalls with “pup-pups, come!” This smartie pants is incredibly food motivated, too, so he is bound to master tons of other commands by adulthood. He isn’t one to stray far from his people and has a loyal, eager-to-please personality. In the evenings, he enjoys cuddling with his sister and will whistle the night away. So, if you’re looking for a rescue who is sweeter than sap, add this pine pup to your pack!🐶🐾❤️
