She’s rare and precious, so of course it was only fitting to name this girl Topaz! Just like the gemstone, this rescue dog sparkles for all to see. Her confident, upbeat personality made her a staff favorite upon first meet. And later–we learned–there is even more to love about her! Shortly after her arrival, Topaz gave birth to six adorable pups. She is a gentle and patient mother, but has proven herself to be an even better companion. Topaz greets the world with a wagging tail and an eagerness for adventure. She enjoys making her rounds around the neighborhood almost as much as she loves a good cuddle. A social butterfly at heart, Topaz will likely flourish in a multi-person environment. Her small size will also make her an easy fit for any style of home! It is with a heart of sadness we say goodbye to our sweet Lady who finally lost her battle with a crummy form of cancer. 🥲 She lived a pampered and well-loved life while under SNIPSA’s wings and exceeded our expectations. We would like to extend a HUGE thank you to her team of foster warriors (Courtney, Patti, Stacey, Ashleigh & Jamie) that cared for her throughout her 11 months with us. And to the devoted medical staff with Animal Cancer Center, Dr. Meredith Esterline, and our amazing veterinary technician, Tami, who made herself available day or night for this precious rescue. It truly takes special heroes willing to take on a hospice dog knowing time is limited. You loved her well, we loved her well, and now our dearest Ladybug may rest in heaven. ✝️👼🪽🐾
