This special girl is the strongest Willow of all. Having weathered the storm of being homeless and giving birth to six babies, she still stands tall and beautiful! Willow has luckily found refuge with a foster to raise her pups, but in a few weeks, she will be ready to lay roots in a forever home. Willow is a great mama and an even better companion. Her sweet, gentle temperament makes her an angel in the eyes of our staff. At three years old, she has mastered her manners and taken on an air of maturity. Willow is an attentive dog who will cuddle her family all day long. We know it won’t be long before she claims an adopter’s heart. It’s getting chilly in San Antonio! 🐶❄️ With temps dropping to 33°, and potentially lower, make sure your furry friends stay safe and warm. Here’s how:
🐾 Bring your pets indoors, especially at night.
🐾 Dress them in sweaters or jackets if they tolerate it.
🐾 Keep outdoor walks brief to prevent overexposure.
Are you helping any stray animals like Feral cats? 🐱 Here’s a few things you can do to help them stay warm:
🐾 Build DIY shelters using plastic bins and straw (not blankets).
🐾 Provide fresh, unfrozen water in insulated bowls.
🐾 Feed extra calories to help them stay warm.

After being saved from euthanasia, this girl has wasted no time enjoying her life! Chug-a-Lug enjoys going on her morning walks and finding all the best smells. 🍃🐶
She is great with kids and has tons of fun playing with our favorite six-year-old. After a good romp, she easily settles down into a lap or a cozy bed for a sweet snooze. 🛌🐾
And not to mention, she is always eager to show off her trademark underbite! Chug-a-Lug is almost fully grown at nine months old, and she already has mastered her manners. She is truly charm and class, wrapped up in the most adorable package. ✨🎀
