About Me
Sweet Pea, thatโs me! And let me tell you, my name rings true. I am the most affectionate, fun-loving dog out there! Once I bond with you, I’ll give you all my love and loyalty. So, how did I wind up in this “rescue” situation? Well, I was spotted roaming outside a horse barn several months ago. A group of good Samaritans saw how skinny and scared I was and decided to give me a real life. So, off to foster care I went! I was pretty shy at first, but Iโve really blossomed since learning about the kindness of humans. My foster family describes me as spunky, sweet and exuberant–I love showing off my best zoomies in the yard, joining in on walks and simply being around my humans. I dream of a loving owner who can bring me on their hikes, hunting trips and fishing excursions! By the way, I am both potty trained and crate trained, so my new owner won’t have to worry about teaching me manners. Just be sure to keep me away from any cats, as they can get me a little wound up! With that, it’s important to know that I adore other dogs and people of all sizes. Open up your arms to me and I promise to be the best girl ever. Itโs almost time for Fiesta parades to return to the streets of San Antonio, and guess what? SNIPSA will once again make an appearance at both the King William Parade and the 25th annual Pooch Parade! ๐โจ You can catch us strutting our stuff with some royal rescues at the King William Parade, or swing by our booth at the Pooch Parade to snag a SNIPSA Fiesta medal and see some impressive canines in costume. Both of these events are dog-friendly, so bring your pup and fill your cup. Itโs time to FIESTA! ๐ช

Iโm Lucy Lu! Who are you?! ๐ค Well, Iโm the sweetest, most playful girl around. Iโll run zoooomies around your heart if youโll just let me. Originally adopted as a puppy back in 2021, I was sadly returned due to some unforeseen circumstances in my parentsโ lives. But despite needing to find a new home, Iโm the best dog ever! โค๏ธโ๐ฉน I love going on walks, playing fetch and showing off my best tricks for Milk Bones. At the end of the day, my favorite thing to do is cuddle up with my loved ones and watch movies. I am great with kids and other dogs, so I should make an easy adjustment to just about any family home. And not to mention, I have the best house manners! ๐พ My breed is a bit of a mystery, but SNIPSA thinks Iโm some kind of Boston Terrier mix.
