19th Annual Race for the Rescues!

Join us for SNIPSA’s biggest event of the year, the 19th Annual Race for the Rescues! This all-paws-in fundraiser raises critical awareness for San Antonio’s homeless animal population, with proceeds directly supporting our spay/neuter outreach and providing essential veterinary care for rescue animals. Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, you can make a difference. (And yes, your dog can race too!)

Volunteer at SNIPSA

SNIPSA volunteers are essential to the organization’s mission of rescuing and rehabilitating animals in San Antonio. With opportunities ranging from adoption events and in-office animal care to community outreach and marketing support, there’s a role for everyone—including special programs for youth and group volunteer experiences.

Pet of The Week

Cinnamon

Don’t let the resting grump face fool you—Nutmeg and Cinnamon may always look a little grumpy, but they’re two of the sweetest cuddle bugs you’ll ever meet! True to their names, they’re equal parts sweet and spicy, and they’ll let out an adorable little grumble if you try to move them from their favorite spot on the couch. It’s all for show—they love being close to their people.

These two have settled into foster life like pros. They’re almost completely potty trained, do great in their crates, and even know how to use a doggy door. They love car rides (especially trips to Port Aransas!), are always up for a game of fetch or anything involving a tennis ball, and get along wonderfully with other dogs. They’re also fantastic with kids, and their foster family’s two little ones are their favorite people in the world.

At mealtime, tiny Nutmeg may be the smallest, but she’s definitely the hungriest eater of the pair!

If you’re looking for two cuddly, goofy companions with lovable personalities and just the right amount of sass, Nutmeg and Cinnamon are ready to spice up your life. Apply today to meet this adorable duo!
