Lyle is our newest intake with a very special feature. He has what's called "parrot mouth", a condition where a dog's top jaw extends much more than the bottom, creating a pronounced overbite. While it gives him a truly unforgettable grin, it doesn't stop him from being sweet, playful, and an all-around good boy. 💙⁠

Imagine the discomfort Freddy was in and the yucky odor coming from his mouth. Dental hygiene is oh so important in our pets. And oftentimes, they can’t really tell us how bad they truly feel, so it goes unnoticed. Some of the first signs of bad teeth may be difficulty chewing, not finishing food, pawing at the face, an unpleasant smell, and weight loss.

When we noticed Freddy’s teeth during the week of Halloween, we knew it was time for a little trip to the “dentist”. Fast forward and he is ready for his holiday home!

This little "escape artist," Ginger, decided to take a solo stroll through the neighborhood. Funny enough, it seems she knew exactly where to go, because she walked right up to our door! 😂⁠
