Your Sponsorship Helps Animals in Need

Animal sponsorship helps animals find their forever homes and provides low- and no-cost spay/neuter programs within our community.  Not everyone is aware of the expense that goes into rescuing an animal. SNIPSA provides all medical care – every animal is spayed/neutered, heart-worm/FeLV/FIV tested, microchipped, vaccinated, de-wormed, given monthly prevention and treated for any additional medical care they may need.  Additionally, SNIPSA provides food, crates, toys, bowls, collar, leashes, puppy pads and bedding to our foster families for the animals in their care.

Our Big Fix clinics provide no-cost spay/neuter services to our underserved communities residing in qualifying zip codes.  It’s a big day for SNIPSA – we spay/neuter over 450 animals in ONE day!  That comes with a big price tag!

Ways to Sponsor

Special Medical Cases

Many of our rescued dogs and cats have veterinary expenses that exceed the amount of their adoption fees. Your contribution will assist in offsetting these expenditures and ensure that we can continue to save more animals going forward!

Sponsor a Spay/ Neuter Package

Many loving pet owners in our community lack financial resources for and access to basic pet care and spay/neuter services. Your $75 donation will provide one no-cost spay/neuter package to a pet owner who could not otherwise afford it on their own. This package includes the spay/neuter surgery, microchip, and DHPP/FVRCP and rabies vaccines.

Community Cat TNR Sponsorship Program

A community cat is primarily wild-raised or has adapted to community living – often referred to as a feral cat colony. This is not a stray cat. A stray cat is defined as someone’s pet who has become lost, or who has been abandoned. SNIPSA offers Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) services to help reduce feral cat populations. TNR is the method of humanely trapping community cats, having them spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and then returning them to their colony to live out their lives. TNR has been shown to be the least costly and the most humane, efficient way of stabilizing community cat populations. Cover the cost of one community cat’s Trap, Neuter, and Return for $75.

Thank you for sponsoring an animal in need.

Because of generous people like you, SNIPSA continues to save animals that may otherwise be euthanized, neglected or abused.  Your tax deductible contribution really does make a difference!

Special PSA - our little Namaste is rounding the corner and eating on his own… finally! Parvo hopefully in the rear view mirror for this guy. Still so skinny however.

Namaste still hanging in there - all the care that goes into treating a parvo dog is quite remarkable. Just as we bathed and changed his bedding, his profuse diarrhea continues. He is holding down the small bit of gruel we fed him which is encouraging. More IV fluids, more drugs and antibiotics to protect his gut, and more time. Please vaccinate your pets - it is so important.

Parvo = YUCK! Vomiting, diarrhea, and just plain old not feeling well. Please remember with owning a pet comes the responsibility of vaccinating your pet. “Namaste” is a teenager and still susceptible to this crummy virus. We are hopeful with time and a cocktail of drugs, he will be on the mend. But for now, he has seen brighter days. Please consider donating to his care by clicking the Linktree in our bio.

Thank you!!

This may be the biggest surprise we've ever had!

Turns out that our senior girl Violetta was PREGNANT at 10 years young! Her wonderful and vigilant foster noticed something seemed a little "off" and it turns out she had two little buns in the oven! Thankfully she was able to birth both puppies naturally and momma and babies are all doing wonderfully. What a way to kick off 2022!
