And I will be Collin you to see…if you’re sleeping, are you dreaming? If you’re dreaming, are you dreaming of me? Yup, that’s right. It might be cheesy, but I had to throw a little “dad rock” in there. My name is Collin, and in human years, I’m 49 years old!!! You’d think a middle-aged guy like me would be settled into a forever home by now, but I’ve recently fallen on some hard times. SNIPSA took me in from Animal Care Services where I was being held after being saved from the streets. You also may notice I’m missing quite a bit of hair, as I was suffering from demodex mange when I was found! I’ve since been treated for my skin condition and I’m just waiting on my hair to grow back. You’ll want to put on those rose-colored glasses because I’ll be looking like my best self again in no time!
Weighing in at a whopping 6.84 pounds, I’ve maxed out my size, but not my capacity to love. I am a meek and mild little guy who is happiest when I’m on a lap. I’m also thought to be some sort of Yorkshire Terrier mix, which is the most popular toy dog breed in the United States! My breed is typically very social, playful and energetic. Hats off to this cutie patootie! 🤠 Have you met Stetson? Thought to be a Husky mix of sorts, this boy has looks on par with his smarts. It’s true–Huskies are highly intelligent, so this little one will be eager to learn and grow by your side! Huskies are also known to make great family dogs when given plenty of attention and exercise, and Stetson is no exception to this. He gets along well with other dogs, loves his walks and has almost mastered his potty training. Stetson is also easily entertained and enjoys his chewies almost as much as a good game of Frisbee! After playtime, this boy settles down nicely in his bed or waits patiently for cuddles from his foster parents. At around four months old, this doggo is a great size and will likely max out around 30 to 50 pounds come adulthood. He is incredibly well-rounded and lovable beyond belief. Never underestimate how important it is that all of our parts work! 🫣🐕 In the last month, SNIPSA has managed to acquire two dogs with rare ectopic ureters. For those of you that have no idea what this is - it occurs when the ureter does not properly tie into the bladder and instead bypasses the bladder and goes straight into the urethra, causing the dog to leak urine continuously. Of course that doesn’t make a dog very adoptable and surgery is the only viable option. We are pleased to share that Dr. Esterline with STVS was able to perform her magic and fix both of these wonderful souls. No more discolored fur, smelly parts, doggie diapers, pet discomfort, and “Woody” and “Dorothy” can now be the lap dogs they were designed to be. We are forever grateful for the care provided by Dr. Esterline and her team and for giving our rescues the life they deserve. 🌹💜🩷And of course, if you’re up for donating, even a few dollars to their hospital bills, we would also appreciate the support!!! I’m known round these parts as Miss Texas, and I’m looking for a new family. I have an easygoing, cheerful nature that leads me to get along with everything and everyone. Ideally, my adopters will have lots of snuggles to offer, and a few other pets/kids for me to rough n’ tumble with. Right now, my favorite activities are playing with the pups in my foster home and cozying up in front of the TV. I’ve also got some basic commands under my belt according to my foster mama!
