About Me
Take a bite of this Jelly Roll! We know he’s a little on the chunky side…but that just means he’ll give you more love! Now, at seven years old, we’re not sure what this boy’s past holds. What we do know is he’ll find a new forever home (and a DIET) now that he’s with us! All jokes aside, Jelly Roll is a super sweet pup with a great outlook on life. This cutie’s tail is ALWAYS wagging. He is quick to greet his foster family with his toothy smile every morning and keeps his kennel nice and tidy. He LOVES attention and will quickly melt for some pets, provided you are ready to give him some. Jelly Roll is also very well-behaved in terms of house manners. He doesn’t chew your things and keeps his paws off your counters. He will make the perfect shadow for someone who in the market for an easy, mature dog. In his new home, he will require a little exercise to help him on his weight loss journey. The great news is–he loves walks and being a part of all the action. He also seems to like other dogs once properly introduced. So, it won’t be too hard to keep this pup happy! It’s almost time for Fiesta parades to return to the streets of San Antonio, and guess what? SNIPSA will once again make an appearance at both the King William Parade and the 25th annual Pooch Parade! 🎉✨ You can catch us strutting our stuff with some royal rescues at the King William Parade, or swing by our booth at the Pooch Parade to snag a SNIPSA Fiesta medal and see some impressive canines in costume. Both of these events are dog-friendly, so bring your pup and fill your cup. It’s time to FIESTA! 🪅

I’m Lucy Lu! Who are you?! 🤗 Well, I’m the sweetest, most playful girl around. I’ll run zoooomies around your heart if you’ll just let me. Originally adopted as a puppy back in 2021, I was sadly returned due to some unforeseen circumstances in my parents’ lives. But despite needing to find a new home, I’m the best dog ever! ❤️🩹 I love going on walks, playing fetch and showing off my best tricks for Milk Bones. At the end of the day, my favorite thing to do is cuddle up with my loved ones and watch movies. I am great with kids and other dogs, so I should make an easy adjustment to just about any family home. And not to mention, I have the best house manners! 🐾 My breed is a bit of a mystery, but SNIPSA thinks I’m some kind of Boston Terrier mix.
