If you’re looking for a delightful pup with a couple years of experience under the belt, look no further than Sedona or his friend, Remzi! These fluffy pups were very recently found together and rescued by Atascosa Animal Allies. While their story is somewhat of a mystery, it’s clear that they have known each other for a little while. It’s thought that they may have lived together, but with no microchip in place for either dog, they are officially lost without a home.
Sedona is a four year old King Charles Spaniel mix with a charming underbite and lovely, flowing fur. A little rattled upon his arrival to SNIPSA, he is now feeling much better after a few nights in his foster home. This boy is a sweet, short-legged pup who simply adores people. He will greet every new guest with an exuberant wag of his tail, and will gently place his paws on their legs to ask for chin scratches. He also has GREAT house manners and his foster mom tells us that he is potty trained, crate trained and leash trained. He fits in well with the other dogs at the home and has not shown any aggression whatsoever. When he isn’t hanging with the pack, Sedona enjoys spending his time shadowing his people and lazing around on the kitchen floor, panting away. Because he has already been chipped, fixed and vetted, he would make an easy starter dog for a new pet owner. 🐟 PET OF THE WEEK 🐟
Hi guys! I’m sure you’ve heard of an underdog, but what about an undercat? 😼 Well, if you’re looking for an example of one, you’re staring right at it! After an unfortunate run-in with a canine, it might be easy to assume I did not come out as the victor. Well, that assumption would be correct. Bearing my battle wounds as I stumbled into a Good Samaritan’s backyard, I was thankfully spotted and rescued. After a quick visit with the SNIPSA medical staff, it was discovered that in addition to the slash across my belly, I also had a broken pelvis. Don’t worry though! It wasn’t long after I was sewn up and had a few days of cage rest and antibiotics that I was already feeling better! ❤️🩹 Now, I spend my days running around as if nothing ever happened. I enjoy batting around my collection of stuffed mice, basking in the sunshine and—of course—eating! Thank goodness that cats have nine lives right? We said goodbye to our two favorite girls this afternoon!! 🥲💖 Tiff and Tori, two kittens that have been in our vet tech’s care since they were just days old, were adopted together. We are so glad they get to spend forever in each other’s company. 🐾💞🐾 Such a BITTERSWEET day!
