Ready to welcome a new pet into your life? You've come to the right place! SNIPSA is dedicated to find the perfect fit for each of our rescues. Since we are not a standing shelter, each animal resides in a foster home so that they can receive the care and socialization needed to help them transition into yours.
Please browse our adoptable pets and consider placing an application to adopt. Applications are answered in the order they are received within 72 hours. Once your application is approved, the foster parent will reach out to you to coordinate a meet and greet with your new potential family member!
Adoption fees vary depending on the type of pet you would like to adopt. Puppies start at $300, adult dogs start at $250, and cats start at $150.
Our adoption fee includes a veterinary exam, microchip, spay/neuter surgery, TWO vaccines, dewormers, fecal, heartworm test (dog), FeLV/FIV test (cat), monthly preventatives, and a complimentary bag of Science Diet. The goal is to provide optimal care to ensure your pet is ready and healthy for its new home.
*Please note: Animals that have received additional non-routine medical treatment have a higher adoption fee.

He isn’t just Pet of the Week—he’s the full package. Affectionate, spunky, and always ready to be by your side, Valentino is the kind of dog who turns everyday moments into something special.
A boy with a classic rescue story, he was adopted as a puppy, but was sadly picked up later in life by Animal Care Services. When they found his SNIPSA microchip and reached out, we knew we couldn’t leave him behind. While we may never know what happened, we do know this: he deserves a second chance—and he’s making the absolute most of it.
Over the past two months, Valentino has been learning, growing, and showing just how incredible he truly is. He’s kennel-trained, loves a good game of fetch (and always brings the ball back!), and is happiest right by your side—your loyal shadow through it all.
As a Carolina Dog/Husky mix, Valentino has plenty of energy and would thrive in an active home. Whether it’s hiking, agility, or just having a “job” to keep his smart mind busy, he’s ready to shine. The more time you spend with him, the happier he’ll be.
