Down the hills and round the bends, Thomas and his friends! Thomas, he’s the cheeky one! You’ve definitely heard of Thomas the Train, but have you met SNIPSA’s Thomas the Tank? Surrendered by his former owner, due to medical complications, it was through no fault of his own that Tank wound up in a rescue. This handsome boy is nothing but a big pile of fluff and love. He is wonderful with children and other pets, so he would make a great addition to almost any family. As long as you are not a vacuum, he is happy to be by your side. Tank might be huge, but he truly is a gentle giant. He is the happiest when close to you as you complete chores or watch TV. As a Great Pyrenees, Tank is loyal, affectionate and well-mannered. At already three and a half years, Tank still values his toys and he is sure to swing his ropes around or flaunt his tennis balls to grab your attention for playtime. Due to his size and nature, Tank would benefit from a yard with plenty of space for him to patrol. Tank does not get on the furniture and is quite content sleeping on the floor next to your bed or against the couch. He also isn’t a fan of puffy beds and instead prefers thinner ones. This girl typically starts her day in a snuggle puddle. Her favorite foster sibling to curl up with is miss Lena. Lena is also available for adoption through her foster, Mimi!
Next, it’s time to eat a nutritious breakfast (not pictured 😜).
Then, Ruffles catches a few morning sniffs in the backyard with the rest of her foster siblings. A sploot in the grass always follows.

FRIDAY FEEL GOOD STORY!!!🎊🐩🐕⭐️ Remember our beloved Lady, the Chihuahua that has been battling a systemic case of mast cell tumors. Well she is still living her best life after being diagnosed with this crummy disease nearly 9 months ago. While we haven’t been able to find her a forever adopter, we do have a team of warrior fosters that have poured their heart and soul into caring for this special doggo making sure she gets her daily meds and makes it to her monthly vet appointments. Special thanks to the doctors at Animal Cancer Center of Texas that have provided encouragement and quality care over the last several months. We are grateful to every soul and cheerleader that has lent a helping hand.

This past Saturday, several helping hands joined to transport Henry all the way from 📍 New Albany, OH to 📍 Olmos Park, TX. We had made a plea for a “doggy caravan” on social media—and you guys delivered!!
Four kindhearted people, a handful of egg bites, a stop at Micky D’s, several potty breaks, and roughly 1,330 miles later…and Henry was back in the hands of his SNIPSA foster family. ✨ Shoutout to Christina, Patti, Sandy and Cherri for assisting in each leg of Henry’s journey. We can’t thank you enough for your efforts in getting this big, lovable lug home safely. ❤️
