Howdy, y’all! Isn’t this boy as handsome as can be? Yes, he’s a looker, but he’s also a great time! Howdy is the happiest, goofiest companion. He is thought to be some kind of Labrador Retriever mix, though we don’t know for sure. He certainly looks nothing like his mama, Shania! That said, he seems to have inherited her outgoing temperament. Howdy is a social butterfly who will make friends with anyone and everyone. When he isn’t stuck right by your side, he can often be found playing with his dog friends or chewing on a tasty bone. Every so often, he crashes out into long naps with a resounding snore that keeps you giggling.
Considering this cowboy is likely mixed with some larger breeds, he will appreciate a spacious home environment. Howdy is a well-balanced dog, but he may also ask his new parents for daily walks and mind-stimulating toys. It’s true that he still has a little bit of puppy energy, but he’s ready to learn! He is already potty trained, and is familiar with several commands like “sit” and “no.” As a young pup, he has plenty of time to adapt to his new family’s lifestyle. 🐟 PET OF THE WEEK 🐟
Hi guys! I’m sure you’ve heard of an underdog, but what about an undercat? 😼 Well, if you’re looking for an example of one, you’re staring right at it! After an unfortunate run-in with a canine, it might be easy to assume I did not come out as the victor. Well, that assumption would be correct. Bearing my battle wounds as I stumbled into a Good Samaritan’s backyard, I was thankfully spotted and rescued. After a quick visit with the SNIPSA medical staff, it was discovered that in addition to the slash across my belly, I also had a broken pelvis. Don’t worry though! It wasn’t long after I was sewn up and had a few days of cage rest and antibiotics that I was already feeling better! ❤️🩹 Now, I spend my days running around as if nothing ever happened. I enjoy batting around my collection of stuffed mice, basking in the sunshine and—of course—eating! Thank goodness that cats have nine lives right? We said goodbye to our two favorite girls this afternoon!! 🥲💖 Tiff and Tori, two kittens that have been in our vet tech’s care since they were just days old, were adopted together. We are so glad they get to spend forever in each other’s company. 🐾💞🐾 Such a BITTERSWEET day!
