Raz has been through a lot, but he’s still holding onto hope for a fresh start.💚

After losing his owner, this handsome little guy is learning how to trust the world again — and honestly, he’s doing such a good job. Raz may not be the “life of the party” type, but that’s what makes him so special. He’s thoughtful, independent, sensitive, and incredibly loyal once he feels safe with you.

Dogs like Raz are often overlooked because they need a little patience at first, but the bond you build with them is something truly different. He doesn’t need chaos or a packed house — just calm energy, respect for his boundaries, and someone willing to let him settle in at his own pace. 🐾

The best part? He already put in the work. Raz recently completed training at Lone Star State K9, giving his future family a great foundation and helping him feel more confident navigating the world.

He’s looking for an adult-only home or one with dog-savvy older kids who understand that sensitive dogs deserve kindness, patience, and space. In return? You’ll get the sweetest little shadow who just wants to feel safe and loved again.

Meet our newest addition - GOLDEN GIRL - hit by a car over a week ago - she was brought into a local shelter unable to stand. With a dedicated team of caretakers, she is finally able to move about though she has a broken left rear leg and possibly other injuries. Now that she is in our care, we will be able to get further diagnostics and start her journey ahead. Any contributions to her rescue would be greatly appreciated. Goldens have the biggest hearts for all the right reasons. ❤️🤡 ❤️

Say hello 👋 to this gorgeous 4-week-old Maine Coon mix named Nori! She has a rare “smoke point” coloring, which features a dark, solid-colored topcoat with a pale silver undercoat—not something we see too often in rescue.

Frida update!!! 🥹💘

Frida arrived in our care last month as a heartbreaking abuse case: severely malnourished, covered in fleas, and bearing the scars of healed wounds. Not to mention, she brought four tiny, nursing babies with her!

Now, her puppies are weaned and ready to go home. She has gained at least eight pounds, transforming into the most beautiful dog. Frida is alert, intelligent, and soft-hearted—truly a dream for any family environment.

It’s amazing how much a dog can change when they are cared for properly; flea/tick/heartworm prevention, regular meals, exercise, and a safe place to curl up at night.
