Meet Herman, known as “Hermee” by his friends, a sweet-natured people-pleaser ready to find his perfect home! This loyal boy is the ultimate companion for daily adventures; he literally does a happy dance the moment he sees his walking harness! Herman also loves car rides and will happily join you for downtown coffee. Herman is a certified king of snuggles whose favorite sleeping position is belly-up. He is such a gentleman and he always takes treats with the gentlest mouth. Herman has been working incredibly hard on his crate training and happily sleeps through the night, though he recently discovered the perks of the “big bed” and will gladly join you like an affectionate, goofy puppy if allowed. 

Herman makes canine friends easily, and he appears to be fully house-trained. Because he can be a bit shy around men, he would love a patient home that will let him build up his confidence at his own pace. He can also coexist with cats, provided they are brave and dog-savvy—if they bolt, his puppy instincts kick in, and he’s ready for a game of tag! Herman also loves playing fetch with squeaky toys and enjoys eating his meals in his quiet corner.
