After FOUR unforgettable years as the SNIPSA office mascot, Sal is officially off to his next great adventure 🐾

A wonderful family answered our call and welcomed him into a forever home where he’ll enjoy 24/7 companionship, a perfectly broken-in sofa, and treats whenever his heart desires.

We’re going to miss this sweet boy more than we can say—his antics, his mischief, and all the little things that made him Sal. But there’s no better ending than this.

Don’t worry, Sal… we’ll keep the scotch tape visible, the Temptations stocked, and a dog nearby just in case you feel like reaching through time for one last swipe 💛

We’re in a squeeze! Don’t let these rescues stay ‘pit’-ted in their kennel. We need fosters by 5 P.M. THIS FRIDAY, April 10th! 🙏💚

We pulled over 50 ‘at-risk’ animals this week, and this is the final stretch to ensure everyone makes it into a foster home. 🏡

We are seeking emergency weekend fosters, OR long-term fosters, to help these sweet souls move from the office into a loving home. We provide the “chips” (all supplies), you just provide the “dip” (the love and the couch)! 🐕✨

We’re kicking off Fiesta with a bang (and a rain poncho or two). What an amazing turnout of animal lovers coming together for this important work here in San Antonio. We laughed, we saved lives, and somehow, we stayed dry. 🌧️

We’ve teamed up with the First Day Foundation, Rotary Club of San Antonio, and Snack Pak 4 Kids to raise funds for important nonprofit work here in San Antonio!

When you race a duck with SNIPSA’s team in the Duck Derby, your dollars directly contribute to our rescue mission. 🐾 This means more animals rehabilitated and rehomed, as well as more free and reduced-price spay/neuter surgeries for underserved pets!
