Calling all coffee lovers! We have the perfect pair of caffeinated brothers in the program just for you! Meet Bean and Brew, two scruffy sweethearts who are seeking the perfect household that will allow them the time and patience to grow into the best boys they are meant to be. Owner-surrendered through no fault of their own, Bean and Brew are adjusting well considering the changes they have faced. Knowing that their world has been flipped upside down, you can’t blame them for being a bit shy. However, they don’t take long to trust new people and they really enjoy spending time with their humans. Despite coming from the same household, these two boys are not very co-dependent on one another and thrive just as well as when they are on their own. They get along with each other swimmingly, but it does take them some time to warm up to new dogs. Now, without a DNA test, there is no certainty in what they are mixed with, but they do resemble Wheaton Terrier mixes with their hair length and texture! Speaking of that luxurious coat, it will be important to keep each of these boys on a regular grooming schedule to ensure that their long hair is maintained. So, if you’re not afraid of a little brushing, patience and lots of kisses, submit an application to meet Bean or Brew today!

It’s getting chilly in San Antonio! 🐶❄️ With temps dropping to 33°, and potentially lower, make sure your furry friends stay safe and warm. Here’s how:
🐾 Bring your pets indoors, especially at night.
🐾 Dress them in sweaters or jackets if they tolerate it.
🐾 Keep outdoor walks brief to prevent overexposure.
Are you helping any stray animals like Feral cats? 🐱 Here’s a few things you can do to help them stay warm:
🐾 Build DIY shelters using plastic bins and straw (not blankets).
🐾 Provide fresh, unfrozen water in insulated bowls.
🐾 Feed extra calories to help them stay warm.

After being saved from euthanasia, this girl has wasted no time enjoying her life! Chug-a-Lug enjoys going on her morning walks and finding all the best smells. 🍃🐶
She is great with kids and has tons of fun playing with our favorite six-year-old. After a good romp, she easily settles down into a lap or a cozy bed for a sweet snooze. 🛌🐾
And not to mention, she is always eager to show off her trademark underbite! Chug-a-Lug is almost fully grown at nine months old, and she already has mastered her manners. She is truly charm and class, wrapped up in the most adorable package. ✨🎀
