Bowie is ready to rock your world! This cutie pie and his sister, Blondie, were initially rescued with a bad case of mange. After a few weeks, however, they are bouncing back like a superstars! Thanks to treatment from our veterinary team, Bowie is doing especially great and we can see his personality truly shine. This boy is a quiet, sweet puppy. While he does have the occasional bout of rambunctious energy, he is definitely a cuddler. He will make a great addition to any loving home with the proper training and socialization. Meet our Pet of the Week, the sweetest treat in the shelter: Mama Cookie. 🍪🐾

There is a heartbreaking reality in rescue: mama dogs are often the last ones left behind. They spend every ounce of their energy raising their babies and making sure they are safe, fed, and loved, only to watch every single one of their puppies get adopted while they wait patiently for their turn. 💔

Mama Cookie has spent a long time being the ultimate caretaker, making sure everyone else was looked after. But the kitchen is clear and her puppies are all grown. She is officially retired from “mama duties” and is so ready to be the center of someone’s world.

Despite her docile nature, she has waited through several adoption events for her “batch made in heaven”. She’s done the work, she’s raised the family, and now she is just looking for the family who will finally choose her. 🏠❤️

These Peanut Butter Reindeer Bites are the perfect festive treat to keep your pup’s tail wagging all season long! 🦌🐾✨

With only three simple ingredients, they are quick to whip up and safe for your furry best friend. Plus, the “antlers” make them look adorable for those holiday pet photos! (Tag us if you make these for your cuties!) 📸🐶

Recipe 🥣

• 1 Cup Plain Pumpkin Puree (make sure it’s not pie filling!)
• 1/2 Cup Xylitol-Free Peanut Butter (always check the label!)
• 2 ½ Cups Oats (Rolled or Quick)

Instructions 📝

• Mix: Stir the pumpkin and peanut butter together until smooth.
• Fold: Add the oats gradually until you have a thick “dough.”

• Shape: Roll into small bite-sized balls.

• Decorate: If you want to get fancy, use two small broken pieces of a grain-free pretzel as “antlers.”

•Chill: Refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm them up.
