It’s quite preposterous that a devilishly handsome dog like myself found his way to the streets innit? Thankfully, I was scooped up by some friendly faces and put into the SNIPSA program. I promise you won’t find a better mate to enjoy a nice cuppa with every morning. I’m a little shy with my introductions, but it won’t take you long to notice what a gentleman I am. I’m a bloody sweet boy with a cheeky grin and a brilliant personality! As a Dachsund you oughta know that I can be quite affectionate, loyal and clever. We are also typically known to be on the smaller side, so I won’t be getting any bigger and would do well in just about any home. Gigi had the best weekend EVER! 🎀🌻🦴
For those of you that don’t know this girl, Gigi has come a long way. When we first met her, she was suffering from a broken jaw due to unknown trauma. She was in pain, terrified and alone.
The good news is, Gigi’s injury was easily fixable. A wire was placed behind her canine and passed through her mandible to secure the fracture. 😷 She is now eating soft food and recovering like a champ in foster care!
Over the past two weeks, Gigi has really started to flourish. She will nap on her pillow for hours then wander up for snuggles and treats. She gets along well with the other dogs in the home, too. 🌷💛
Gigi is a shining example of how a little bit of love and patience can transform a dog’s life. Please consider adopting her or donating towards her surgery costs.
