This girl is so sugary sweet, you’ll want to gobble her up with a glass of milk! Cookie is a social butterfly who lives for a good cuddle, and she certainly enjoys the company of her humans. This sweet girl is affectionately regarded as a “San Antonio special,” a term for the rescues that we can’t put an exact breed on. While most mutts exhibit traits of at least one or two breeds, this little one is totally unique in her looks and personality. Despite the mystery behind her lineage, this Cookie is thought to be medium-sized once fully-grown. Cookie is a huge lover and a smart girl. She is already potty trained and she has some excellent leash manners. Cookie also doesn’t mind the company of other dogs, so she would make a great addition to the pack. It’s getting chilly in San Antonio! 🐶❄️ With temps dropping to 33°, and potentially lower, make sure your furry friends stay safe and warm. Here’s how:
🐾 Bring your pets indoors, especially at night.
🐾 Dress them in sweaters or jackets if they tolerate it.
🐾 Keep outdoor walks brief to prevent overexposure.
Are you helping any stray animals like Feral cats? 🐱 Here’s a few things you can do to help them stay warm:
🐾 Build DIY shelters using plastic bins and straw (not blankets).
🐾 Provide fresh, unfrozen water in insulated bowls.
🐾 Feed extra calories to help them stay warm.
