I know my cheeks look a little puffy, but I promise they’re all natural! No bee stings here! 😉 Saved within just an hour from euthanasia, I am incredibly thankful for my second chance. I sprung into the SNIPSA office upon my arrival and made sure to kiss every staff member at least a few times. I’m a huge fan of everyone I meet, no matter the species. In fact, my foster home is a BLAST with all the fellow dogs I have to play with – so I would love a home with another canine companion and tons of room to play. Once I’ve gotten all my wiggles out, I crash just as hard! In fact, one of my favorite pastimes is cuddling up with my foster siblings for our afternoon snooze. As a Shar Pei Mix, you can expect me to be loyal, fun-loving and full of energy. At only 8 months old, I am still predominantly puppy so it’s important to know I’ll still require the same amount of time, training and patience that any puppy would require! Initially rescued off the streets by @sanantonioacs, these two were recently transferred to SNIPSA. They have been ravaged by nasty bugs — both on their skin and inside of their little bodies.
SNIPSA started them off with a dose of Bravecto to kill the sarcoptic mange mites, and a dewormer to flush out the internal parasites. 🚫🦟🪱 Over the next few weeks, they will also be receiving medicated baths and some much-needed love.

It is with a heart of sadness we say goodbye to our sweet Lady who finally lost her battle with a crummy form of cancer. 🥲 She lived a pampered and well-loved life while under SNIPSA’s wings and exceeded our expectations. We would like to extend a HUGE thank you to her team of foster warriors (Courtney, Patti, Stacey, Ashleigh & Jamie) that cared for her throughout her 11 months with us. And to the devoted medical staff with Animal Cancer Center, Dr. Meredith Esterline, and our amazing veterinary technician, Tami, who made herself available day or night for this precious rescue. It truly takes special heroes willing to take on a hospice dog knowing time is limited. You loved her well, we loved her well, and now our dearest Ladybug may rest in heaven. ✝️👼🪽🐾
