This kitty canopy without you! Meet Forest, a lovely, punny two-month-old kitten. This gorgeous bundle of fur was found at the edge of some dense Texas wilderness. A local animal lover heard his cries coming from a bush and swooped in to investigate. After discovering that Forest was alone, she presumed that he must have been abandoned. Now, thanks to this rescuer and a kindhearted foster, Forest has been offered a new life as a house pet! Right away, this cutie has settled in at his new foster home. According to his foster mom, he acts like he owns the place, and is learning how to get along with her resident cat. Before long, we hope to see the two of them snuggled up together! One thing about Forest is he is a huge fan of physical touch. He spends every single night curled up on his foster mom’s shoulder. He also enjoys chasing her heels and winding himself around her legs. At times, he can be a little clingy and will meow for attention, but that only adds to his charm! It is with a heart of sadness we say goodbye to our sweet Lady who finally lost her battle with a crummy form of cancer. 🥲 She lived a pampered and well-loved life while under SNIPSA’s wings and exceeded our expectations. We would like to extend a HUGE thank you to her team of foster warriors (Courtney, Patti, Stacey, Ashleigh & Jamie) that cared for her throughout her 11 months with us. And to the devoted medical staff with Animal Cancer Center, Dr. Meredith Esterline, and our amazing veterinary technician, Tami, who made herself available day or night for this precious rescue. It truly takes special heroes willing to take on a hospice dog knowing time is limited. You loved her well, we loved her well, and now our dearest Ladybug may rest in heaven. ✝️👼🪽🐾
