With our dedicated network of volunteers and animal lovers, SNIPSA is able to host many fun events throughout the year to help pets in need! All proceeds from our events go back into rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and dogs in San Antonio. They also help us serve our Alamo community through our free spay and neuter outreach. Our army of Dollys had a good reason to go all out! When we come together for Fiesta, it’s prime time to educate the public about this city’s overpopulation of stray cats and dogs, and SNIPSA's role in the animal welfare movement. To the dolls who showed up, wore a funky hat, walked a foster dog, sold a SNIPSA fiesta medal, or shoved balloons up their shirt in the name of rescue—we THANK YOU! On Saturday, April 12th, hundreds of people gathered with their pets at St. Mary’s University for a common cause – to reduce the homeless animal population in San Antonio. With a dedicated team of veterinarians, technicians, volunteers, SNIPSA staff, and responsible pet owners, we could spay, neuter, vaccinate, and microchip 515 animals in need. We could not have done this without your unwavering support! THANK YOU!
This November, SNIPSA set a new record for our Big Fix clinics. We fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated an impressive 540 animals in need... and it’s all thanks to YOU! Flip through photo gallery from the big day.
SNIPSA's 17th Annual Race for the Rescues was positively SUPER! With support from our community heroes, we raised over $215,000 to benefit the medical care of homeless animals in the Alamo City. Click the link below to see our photos from this impactful 5k.
