Jumping, joyful, jazzy little Jasper! This scruffy dude is tons of fun and makes friends everywhere he goes. Jasper was quick to offer kisses and tail wags to every staff member upon his arrival to the SNIPSA office. As an adult, Jasper has already reached maturity – meaning what you see is what you get! That’s right! No surprise growth spurts here;)! Jasper is a clever boy who appears to already be crate and potty trained in addition to walking like a pro on his leash. This quirky kid is adjusting well to the rescue life and still figuring out his way. For instance he LOVES the sound of squeaky toys, but he isn’t quite sure what to do with them yet. As a Terrier mix, it’s no shock that Jasper is outgoing, affectionate and alert. He will do well in most households as he gets along with everyone he meets (animals included). It’s getting chilly in San Antonio! 🐶❄️ With temps dropping to 33°, and potentially lower, make sure your furry friends stay safe and warm. Here’s how:
🐾 Bring your pets indoors, especially at night.
🐾 Dress them in sweaters or jackets if they tolerate it.
🐾 Keep outdoor walks brief to prevent overexposure.
Are you helping any stray animals like Feral cats? 🐱 Here’s a few things you can do to help them stay warm:
🐾 Build DIY shelters using plastic bins and straw (not blankets).
🐾 Provide fresh, unfrozen water in insulated bowls.
🐾 Feed extra calories to help them stay warm.

After being saved from euthanasia, this girl has wasted no time enjoying her life! Chug-a-Lug enjoys going on her morning walks and finding all the best smells. 🍃🐶
She is great with kids and has tons of fun playing with our favorite six-year-old. After a good romp, she easily settles down into a lap or a cozy bed for a sweet snooze. 🛌🐾
And not to mention, she is always eager to show off her trademark underbite! Chug-a-Lug is almost fully grown at nine months old, and she already has mastered her manners. She is truly charm and class, wrapped up in the most adorable package. ✨🎀
