As tough as can be and bigger than ever, you might just mistake a cowboy like me for the bull itself. Howdy, nice to meet ya! The name’s Ludo. You might be wondering what a tall glass of water like me is doing without a home. Well, to tell ya the truth, I’ve been wondering the same thing myself. Found wandering the streets near some farmland, my savior was nice enough to help me find my way to a better life at SNIPSA. My foster mama says I’m a real smart boy…and good too! I’m really good at sittin’ especially when you tell me to. Plus, I’m workin’ real hard on how to shake, but I promise I’ve almost got it down! I’m as happy as a pig eatin’ slop and I love to play with every creature I meet. From kids to cows and even other dogs, I make friends as easy as pie. That said, I hope you’ve got a lot of space cause I’m one BIG puppy. There’s no telling just how large I’m gonna get, but you can bet that I’ll be the biggest lap dog you’ll ever meet. I’ve been sleepin’ in a crate every night with no complaints. I also like to make sure everyone in the house is safe at all times, so you might catch me monitoring the perimeter of the yard. Did I happen to mention I LOVE toys? Oh, those are just the best, especially the really chewy ones. So, if you’re looking for a charming country boy who wants nothing more than to devote his whole heart to you, submit an application for me today!

Initially rescued off the streets by @sanantonioacs, these two were recently transferred to SNIPSA. They have been ravaged by nasty bugs — both on their skin and inside of their little bodies.
SNIPSA started them off with a dose of Bravecto to kill the sarcoptic mange mites, and a dewormer to flush out the internal parasites. 🚫🦟🪱 Over the next few weeks, they will also be receiving medicated baths and some much-needed love.

It is with a heart of sadness we say goodbye to our sweet Lady who finally lost her battle with a crummy form of cancer. 🥲 She lived a pampered and well-loved life while under SNIPSA’s wings and exceeded our expectations. We would like to extend a HUGE thank you to her team of foster warriors (Courtney, Patti, Stacey, Ashleigh & Jamie) that cared for her throughout her 11 months with us. And to the devoted medical staff with Animal Cancer Center, Dr. Meredith Esterline, and our amazing veterinary technician, Tami, who made herself available day or night for this precious rescue. It truly takes special heroes willing to take on a hospice dog knowing time is limited. You loved her well, we loved her well, and now our dearest Ladybug may rest in heaven. ✝️👼🪽🐾
