We recently welcomed a gentle girl from our rescue partners, and her arrival was as sweet as a song. After a soothing bath and a long, well-deserved nap in her cozy kennel bed, this little lady woke up and began to “whisper” to us with soft, soulful howls, asking for nothing more than a friend to be near. It was at that moment we knew her name had to be Lyric.
Lyric is a Red Heeler mix who defines the term “charming.” Her foster mom raves about her sweet nature, sharing, “She is such a cuddle bug and loves to be glued by your side regardless of what you’re doing. I’m cooking? She’s laying down on the mat. Weeding the yard? She’s sitting in a sunny grass patch.”
