About Me

In this tale, a mother bird lands safely just in time to nest. Blackbird arrived at SNIPSA from our rescue partners in Karnes just hours before welcoming her litter: Baltimore, Magpie, Lark, and Myna! 

Now these hatchlings are ready to fly the nest! With their sights set on a new family, here is your ‘Field Guide to the Bird Babies:’ 

  • Baltimore (m): A bold explorer with a bright personality, he is the first to soar towards a new toy!
  • Magpie (f): True to her name, she loves to collect “treasures,” usually her siblings’ toys and an occasional treat from staff.
  • Lark (m): Always waking up with a song in his heart, Lark is a cheerful boy that finds joy in the morning beams.
  • Myna (f): A clever girl who is a quick learner, she’ll be barking back and sitting in no time!
