“It’s a beautiful day to save lives.” This dynamic duo is a couple of HOT dogs! Meet McDreamy and McSteamy, two brothers brought to us by the city of San Antonio’s Animal Care Services. Originally from a litter of six, McDreamy and McSteamy are the last two left! Why? We aren’t too sure! We thought their dashing good looks would get them scooped up right away, but you know what they say… “Looks aren’t everything.” While that might be true, these boys’ looks are just a plus to their exuberant personalities! So if their jet-black fur and cute button noses weren’t enough, we’re sure that even a brief moment with them will win you over. McDreamy and McSteamy are on the timid side upon first introductions, but it doesn’t take them long to cover you in kisses from head to toe. These two thrive in the company of their humans and favorite canine companions, so they would fit in well with just about any household once they have had time to adjust to their new home. Each one of these brothers is both crate and potty-trained, so you get to skip straight past the hard part of puppyhood while still getting a young dog! Did we also mention that they are the perfect travel size? That’s right! These two won’t be getting much bigger (if they get bigger at all), so they will make for the easiest of traveling companions. We just can’t believe it, so of course we had to make her our pet of the week. 🌸 Sandy is a happy-go-lucky girl who was initially rescued when she was just two weeks old. With no mom around to care for her and her siblings, she was hand-raised by our adoption coordinator until she was old enough to begin munching on wet food. Now, she is ready to become your comfort critter! 🫧
Sandy loves children and animals of all sizes. She is young and intelligent, with limitless potential for training. We can see her thriving in a family home with plenty of activities to keep her happy and healthy. 🌟

Who can provide our Betty White with a cozy space in which she can await her forever person? 🧡 This girl is cuddly, curious, and she eats well, despite her old age. She doesn’t mind short leashed walks (or trolley rides) around the neighborhood and occasionally will churn out zoomies in the yard. Betty does have a slight head tilt from an injury that occurred before her rescue. We think it just adds to her charm, and she doesn’t seem to mind it, either. 🥰
