As we march into San Antonioβs most festive annual celebration, we introduce to you the Fiesta litter! This bunch found themselves at a local animal shelter without their mom and had just started eating gruel.Β Knowing their potential, we swooped them up because we just couldnβt resist their cuteness. Full of love, curiosity, innocence and fluff – this litter is sure to steal your heart. Our best guesstimate is they will be in the medium size range when fully mature but please donβt hold any grudges if we are off a pound or two π Itβs often hard for us to know these things without lineage and parents, and we do our best to be βmagic geniesβ. Puppies require training and mentoring so please ensure you have the time when considering adoption. We are convinced this breed will love the water, enjoy riding shotgun in the car, eager to go for long leisurely walks, maybe a few camping trips, and just being a devoted four-legged friend for life. So as you grab your cascarone and reach for your margarita over the next few weeks, picture life with one of these amazing additions!

In 2024, rescue reached new heights at SNIPSA! β¨
We exceeded our numbers like never before, with 956 animals adopted and even more rescued. Many of these animals entered our program with heartworm disease, mange, nursing litters, broken bones, or other preexisting conditions. ππ©»πΎ
SNIPSA also provided a total of 3,355 spay and neuter surgeries. Out of the animals fixed, 2,566 received their surgery for free in an effort to reduce the homeless animal population in San Antonio. βοΈ

Double the paws, double the love! Meet our pet of the week duo: Reecee and Lizzy! While they are not a bonded pair, these two love to play and cuddle in their shared foster home. πΎπ
Miss Reecee, fondly known as Reeceβs Pieces, was rescued back in June of 2022 with her mom and littermates. She is a special cat who, despite her tough start, lives each day with joy and curiosity. Now, you may notice she is missing her tail, but she definitely doesnβt lack in personality! πββ¬β¨
