About Me
As we march into San Antonio’s most festive annual celebration, we introduce to you the Fiesta litter! This bunch found themselves at a local animal shelter without their mom and had just started eating gruel. Knowing their potential, we swooped them up because we just couldn’t resist their cuteness. Full of love, curiosity, innocence and fluff – this litter is sure to steal your heart. Our best guesstimate is they will be in the medium size range when fully mature but please don’t hold any grudges if we are off a pound or two 🙂 It’s often hard for us to know these things without lineage and parents, and we do our best to be “magic genies”. Puppies require training and mentoring so please ensure you have the time when considering adoption. We are convinced this breed will love the water, enjoy riding shotgun in the car, eager to go for long leisurely walks, maybe a few camping trips, and just being a devoted four-legged friend for life. So as you grab your cascarone and reach for your margarita over the next few weeks, picture life with one of these amazing additions!

Hats off to this cutie patootie! 🤠 Have you met Stetson? Thought to be a Husky mix of sorts, this boy has looks on par with his smarts. It’s true–Huskies are highly intelligent, so this little one will be eager to learn and grow by your side! Huskies are also known to make great family dogs when given plenty of attention and exercise, and Stetson is no exception to this. He gets along well with other dogs, loves his walks and has almost mastered his potty training. Stetson is also easily entertained and enjoys his chewies almost as much as a good game of Frisbee! After playtime, this boy settles down nicely in his bed or waits patiently for cuddles from his foster parents. At around four months old, this doggo is a great size and will likely max out around 30 to 50 pounds come adulthood. He is incredibly well-rounded and lovable beyond belief. Never underestimate how important it is that all of our parts work! 🫣🐕 In the last month, SNIPSA has managed to acquire two dogs with rare ectopic ureters. For those of you that have no idea what this is - it occurs when the ureter does not properly tie into the bladder and instead bypasses the bladder and goes straight into the urethra, causing the dog to leak urine continuously. Of course that doesn’t make a dog very adoptable and surgery is the only viable option. We are pleased to share that Dr. Esterline with STVS was able to perform her magic and fix both of these wonderful souls. No more discolored fur, smelly parts, doggie diapers, pet discomfort, and “Woody” and “Dorothy” can now be the lap dogs they were designed to be. We are forever grateful for the care provided by Dr. Esterline and her team and for giving our rescues the life they deserve. 🌹💜🩷And of course, if you’re up for donating, even a few dollars to their hospital bills, we would also appreciate the support!!! I’m known round these parts as Miss Texas, and I’m looking for a new family. I have an easygoing, cheerful nature that leads me to get along with everything and everyone. Ideally, my adopters will have lots of snuggles to offer, and a few other pets/kids for me to rough n’ tumble with. Right now, my favorite activities are playing with the pups in my foster home and cozying up in front of the TV. I’ve also got some basic commands under my belt according to my foster mama! I will come when called, sit on command and walk perfectly on my leash. I am always ready to please my folks…treats are just a yummy bonus.
