About Me
Ohana means family, and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten. Well, we certainly wouldn’t want to leave this sweet surfer behind! Nani caught a wave from Lytle, Texas to SNIPSA and quickly became a loving member of the family. Believed to be a Catahoula mix, she is one big love bug with pure white eyelashes and the softest ears ever. Confident, playful, expressive and curious, she enjoys the company of people and other dogs alike, and she even does well with cats and kids. Nani is getting the hang of playing fetch after only a day with her foster family. This breed is often praised for being excellent judges of character and loyal to their families. Given their active nature, they also appreciate a home with space to exercise or frequent walks. From day one, she has been a gentle social butterfly, following her foster mama everywhere and plunking down to keep her company. She doesn’t seem to have an aggressive bone in her body. She is potty trained and kennels perfectly, sleeping soundly through the night. So, don’t be a tourist and pass this kiddo by. She’s going to make some lucky person or family soooo happy! Update on Mr. Fish Stick!!!!🐈🐈 🙏🎊🙌Just a little over a week ago, this sweet kitten was found with a significant wound to his belly and had a difficult time bearing weight in his rear legs. He most likely had a run in with a dog that left him the “undercat.” We sewed him up, started him on antibiotics, and provided cage rest to heal his broken pelvis. Now this little hero is running around as if nothing ever happened – batting around his collection of stuffed mice, basking in the sunshine, and eating like a champion. There’s a reason for the adage that CATS HAVE NINE LIVES!!! Fish Stick wasn’t about to “disappoint.”
