They say the best view comes after the hardest climb, and we are hoping that is true.

We are Alaska and Denali, two of the sweetest sisters abandoned at a local apartment complex. We were discovered by an animal lover who fed us breakfast tacos before bringing us into her care… What can we say? We have refined taste! Here is what our caring foster has noted about us since being in her care:

We are highly intelligent, typical of the shepherd breed!

Denali, that’s me! I am historically loyal and loving, especially with my sister, Alaska. I was previously attacked by a coyote, the likely cause of my scarred nose.

Alaska is the name! I am a little more on the silly side; I go with the flow and tend to follow my sister’s lead.

Together, we are both very gentle, low-key, and affectionate towards humans, despite being unhoused for months and months.

We have had tough times and our fair share of mountains to climb. We are ready to find our base camp. Could that be with you?
