Could this Elvra set your heart on fire?

This young lady has gone through a world of hurt, but if there’s one thing she’s sure of it’s this: Love is still out there.

Elvira was found in a ditch area near a Charlotte city park. She was emaciated, had overgrown nails, and was riddled with skin issues, fleas and ticks. Based on her overall condition, it can be assumed that she was used for breeding and most likely kept in a crate for most of her life. It’s about time we turned things around for this sweet Frenchie.

SNIPSA has already developed a regimen to treat Elvira’s skin, including a specialized food and oral antibiotics. Now, she’ll just need an educated adopter who can care for her the way she deserves. As a French Bulldog, she is susceptible to lifelong allergies and breathing issues/overheating due to her limited airways, so you’ll want to keep her unique needs in mind when considering adoption.

Elvira is an absolute sweetheart in spite of her past — she’s wiggly, gentle, and full of kisses. She is a Velcro dog who follows her people around with the most adorable snorts. So, if you’re feeling a burning desire to love Elvira forever, apply to meet her today!
