Te quiero SNIPSA! Te quiero nine Chihuahuas! Okay, eight Chihuahuas, and one very friendly imposter named Enchilada. But we could easily gobble each one of them up with some queso fresco.

Enchilada and his variety pack took a freedom ride to SNIPSA on September 3rd, stacked shoulder-to-shoulder in our iconic van. Prior to their rescue, they were all living together under one roof in unfortunate circumstances. Sadly, each pup was suffering from a myriad of issues: fleas and ticks, overgrown toenails, upper respiratory infections, and lack of socialization. Now, they have received some much-needed veterinary care, and they are ready to embrace a brighter reality in foster homes!

Enchilada is our feature flavor for a reason: He’s much larger than all the rest, and he has a personality that makes us keep coming back! This guy is meek and mild, with a fondness for flattening like a tortilla for belly rubs. It’s clear he finds comfort in his humans, and his gentle demeanor will just make your heart melt. He brings a Labrador-like loyalty that perfectly balances out the spiciness of his Chihuahua friends.

Enchilada is learning to live a normal life one day at a time. He’s looking forward to long snoozes on cushy couches, slow but thorough inspections of your backyard, and maybe some tortilla chips at dinner time.
