Maya was taken in by SNIPSA when she followed a local advocate home during their morning jog. Her microchip was a dead end, though it was found that she was originally rescued in Corpus Christi. At just over a year old, it seems she didn’t have much luck with her first family. But we’re ready to change that for this happy go lucky pup!

With zero fear of the unknown and a burning desire to please her humans, Maya will make an amazing addition to a home that stays busy. She is great with other kids and dogs, she knows her sit and shake, and she is a great eater. Maya will eagerly help you taste-test all of your groceries, as she definitely needs to put on 10-15 pounds. Although she’s still got her puppy energy, her smarts make her the perfect training candidate in her forever home.
