Pocketbook may be carrying a little extra baggage right now, but this sweet mama is ready for a fresh start!

She arrived in our care with quite the load—she’s expecting babies and nursing a broken leg. Since she isn’t a candidate for surgery at this time, her leg is safely supported in a splint while she rests, heals, and settles into foster care before her little ones make their grand entrance.

Understandably, Pocketbook can be a little scared at first. But underneath those nerves is an incredibly sweet girl who enjoys gentle pets and slowly starts to let her guard down once she knows she’s safe. Give her a little time, and she may even reward you with the sweetest kisses– This is the case for all of the SNIPSA staff!
