Hot diggity dog! Meet the new weenies in town: Smash Dog and Roadhouse Dog, lovingly named after our favorite orders at Sonic!

After a rescue from a hoarding situation and a brief stint at the Hondo Animal Control shelter, these two little dachshunds made the drive down country roads to Old San Antone. With ears flopping and tails wagging, the two young’uns came to our office with nothing but each other and big dreams of finding their forever homes.

Despite her bold name, Smash Dog has a laid-back attitude and a personality as sweet as honey. She’d love nothing more than to snuggle up on the couch with you after a trot around the neighborhood. Dachshunds like Smash require daily exercise and plenty of attention to run down their batteries each day, despite their short stature. What Smash Dog needs most, though, is a home where she can live out her days safely and comfortably, surrounded by lots of love.
