Meet Sonny, a young Black Mouth Cur and Shar Pei mix! As young as he is, this angel came to us with an unknown past and signs of neglect. The first thing we noticed about Sonny was his gentle nature and timidness. Once we took a closer look, we realized this poor guy had a scar around his neck from a potential rope or collar that sat too tight.

Sonny is making steady progress in foster care. He absolutely adores his foster brother Dylan, following him everywhere, and he’s already a great, calm passenger in the car. He is wonderfully receptive to cuddles and treats, though he’s still working on house training, but is progressing everyday.
