Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo! Looks like this pumpkin was plucked from the patch and turned into a sweet Cairn Terrier-Chihuahua mix!

She’s more than just a Fairy Godmother… she’s a real mother! Pumpkin arrived at our office with two puppies, just weeks old, aptly named Squash and Gourd. The fido family was surrendered by their original owner and spent time at Maddie’s Dog Rescue in Uvalde before arriving in SNIPSA’s care. Now they’re looking for their forever homes.

Cairn Terriers are actually most widely recognized from a different fairy tale: The Wizard of Oz! They are known to be friendly, independent, and affectionate, making them ideal family dogs. Along with Chihuahuas, their small size makes them able to adapt to apartment life if necessary, as long as their exercise is compensated with time outside to keep their brains and bodies busy.
