Roxanne serves as SNIPSA’s Administrative Assistant. She is responsible for scheduling spay/neuter surgery, manning the thousands of phone calls and emails that come through our office, assisting with adoptions and all the day-to-day that happens in the rescue world.
Roxanne is a longtime resident of San Antonio who shares a unique and special relationship with her identical twin sister and three other siblings. Roxanne has worked in the service industry for fifteen years as a property manager and as a service manager for a premium car dealership. She received her degree in History and Anthropology from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2015. Her love for animals led her to join the SNIPSA family in 2021. Roxanne is committed to helping her community rescue, rehome, and encourage responsible pet ownership. When she’s not working, Roxanne refuels by spending time with her family, riding bikes, caring for her hedgehog and three felines – Eek, Guts, and Tiger.

We just can’t believe it, so of course we had to make her our pet of the week. 🌸 Sandy is a happy-go-lucky girl who was initially rescued when she was just two weeks old. With no mom around to care for her and her siblings, she was hand-raised by our adoption coordinator until she was old enough to begin munching on wet food. Now, she is ready to become your comfort critter! 🫧
Sandy loves children and animals of all sizes. She is young and intelligent, with limitless potential for training. We can see her thriving in a family home with plenty of activities to keep her happy and healthy. 🌟

Who can provide our Betty White with a cozy space in which she can await her forever person? 🧡 This girl is cuddly, curious, and she eats well, despite her old age. She doesn’t mind short leashed walks (or trolley rides) around the neighborhood and occasionally will churn out zoomies in the yard. Betty does have a slight head tilt from an injury that occurred before her rescue. We think it just adds to her charm, and she doesn’t seem to mind it, either. 🥰
