Staci graduated from the University of Texas-San Antonio with a degree in Professional Writing, wanting to pursue non-profit work. She has always had a passion for animal rescue-volunteering with multiple rescues throughout her education which eventually led her to SNIPSA after graduating.
When she is not snapping pics of SNIPSA rescues or writing, youโll find Staci down at the coast on a boat with her husband and their two dogs- Bane and SNIPSA alumnus Lex Luthor. Living out on a ranch, she is also surrounded by an array of horses, cows, and goats.
Staci has been with SNIPSA for over 4 years and is dedicated to supporting the mission.

My rescue has a first name, itโs O-s-c-a-r! ๐ฃ
We all know size doesnโt truly matter, and this boy is a prime example. Oscar is a tiny pup who loves BIG! His personality is best described as curious, alert, submissive, and sweet. He is a huge cuddler and definitely finds safety in his humans. During his first day at SNIPSA, he was stuck to us like glue. ๐
This boy is also a bit of an explorer at heartโhe will waste no time checking out all of the sights and smells in new spaces. When heโs tired out, he will find a nice spot to settle into; a cushion, the floor, a lap, or even under a chair! His amiable personality mixes well with his small size, making a dog perfect for cuddling, traveling, and/or smaller dwellings. Heโs fully grown but still young, so he is not expected to get any larger. ๐พ

This nine-year-old girl was way overdue for a dental cleaning when she arrived at our office two weeks ago. So, what did we do? Our caring technicians decided it was time for a good scrub and polish, extracting a few bad teeth in the process. โจ
