Their mama, working as a livestock guardian, was secretly pregnant on duty, so imagine everyone’s surprise when three puppies popped up amongst the sheep! It’s getting chilly in San Antonio! 🐶❄️ With temps dropping to 33°, and potentially lower, make sure your furry friends stay safe and warm. Here’s how:
🐾 Bring your pets indoors, especially at night.
🐾 Dress them in sweaters or jackets if they tolerate it.
🐾 Keep outdoor walks brief to prevent overexposure.
Are you helping any stray animals like Feral cats? 🐱 Here’s a few things you can do to help them stay warm:
🐾 Build DIY shelters using plastic bins and straw (not blankets).
🐾 Provide fresh, unfrozen water in insulated bowls.
🐾 Feed extra calories to help them stay warm.
