Their mama, Lulu, is just the best girl around, and she is teaching her babies all of her good manners. So far, this trio has learned how to seek out the best snacks, chase a ball and put on their cutest faces for the masses! It wonβt be long before they find their forever homes, thatβs for sure. Given that their mother is a Blue Heeler, these three will likely remain energetic come adulthood. They are already well-socialized with humans and other dogs, and seem incredibly eager to please. In 2024, rescue reached new heights at SNIPSA! β¨
We exceeded our numbers like never before, with 956 animals adopted and even more rescued. Many of these animals entered our program with heartworm disease, mange, nursing litters, broken bones, or other preexisting conditions. ππ©»πΎ
SNIPSA also provided a total of 3,355 spay and neuter surgeries. Out of the animals fixed, 2,566 received their surgery for free in an effort to reduce the homeless animal population in San Antonio. βοΈ

Double the paws, double the love! Meet our pet of the week duo: Reecee and Lizzy! While they are not a bonded pair, these two love to play and cuddle in their shared foster home. πΎπ
Miss Reecee, fondly known as Reeceβs Pieces, was rescued back in June of 2022 with her mom and littermates. She is a special cat who, despite her tough start, lives each day with joy and curiosity. Now, you may notice she is missing her tail, but she definitely doesnβt lack in personality! πββ¬β¨
